Méthodologie d'identification de l'activité humaine et de détection de chute par exploitation de données accélérométriques

Résumé

The invention relates to detecting the fall of a human subject wearing at least one actimetric device which comprises means for acquiring instantaneous acceleration measurements along three axes and means for processing said acquired acceleration measurements, said method providing the implementation of the following steps by the processing means: first processing of the instantaneous acceleration measurements; detecting a fall of said human subject on the basis of the result of said first processing; generating, at least in some cases, a local alarm signal and/or an alarm signal sent to a remote location should a fall be detected. According to the invention, said method provides the implementation, by the processing means, of a second processing of the instantaneous acceleration measurements so as to produce an activity indicator of said subject, and of the generation of a local alarm confirmation signal and/or an alarm confirmation signal sent to a remote location should the fall be confirmed by means of said activity indicator.
