Design of a New Fasten-Able Linear Motor for Smart Distributed Robot System

Abstract : Distributed robot often contains two systems. One is for moving, another one is for fastening. In this paper, we focus on a new linear motor, in addition to motion function, it can provide suction force, does not require continuous energy supply for suction. A basic circuit for the new linear motor was designed, tested, which can freely control the length of dead-time. Design guide for initial design are also summed up.
