Observer-based detection of time shift failures in (max,+)-linear systems

Abstract : In this paper, we address the problem of failure detection in production lines modeled as Timed Event Graphs (TEG). The proposed method represents TEGs as (max,+)-linear systems with disturbance and aims at detecting time shift failures in the underlying production lines. To do so, we will reconstruct the state of the observed system and define an indicator relying on the residuation theory on (max,+)-linear systems.
